Space Management

In this section, you can explore space management options based on the tooth (or teeth) lost and the clinical situation of the patient. Space management choices are presented separately for the upper and lower arches to make it easier to review and compare alternatives. This module is limited to selecting the most appropriate type of space maintainer when its use is already indicated. It does not discuss indications, contraindications, or the timing of space maintainer placement.
